About Drinkanagem
Drinkanagem was born in 2015 in Porto Alegre, in southern Brazil, out of the wish to record every cocktail with measure, method and history.
It all started after a bartending course: three friends set on testing recipe after recipe, writing down what worked and repeating it until they got it right. That habit produced the first house creations, such as the Hot Blondie, the Amansa Patroa, the Estilo Vitoriano and the CaipiRave.
Over time the notes gained method: a catalog of the bottles on the bar, a library of herbs and spices for bitters and liqueurs, and a menu of more than a hundred recipes, each one tasted and rated from 1 to 5 stars.
Today Drinkanagem brings that collection and the official IBA list together in one place, and takes the same method to bars, restaurants and hotels: a drinks menu made to measure and a team trained to serve it.
How we work
Measure, method and history
Measure
Every recipe in ml, with the glass, ice and garnish defined. The drink comes out the same the first time and the hundredth.
Method
Every technique has a reason: when to shake, when to stir, how much to dilute. It is what the team training teaches.
History
Knowing where a classic comes from helps you serve it better and tell its story to the person on the other side of the bar.
Timeline
Since 2015
Drinkanagem is born in Porto Alegre, after a bartending course. The first house creations appear.
The menu passes a hundred recipes. The Bottle Catalog and the Flavor Library begin, and the research reaches the wineries and distilleries of the Serra Gaúcha.
Drinkanagem gets its own site, with the IBA list, the Author's Menu and the services for bars, restaurants and hotels.
